“Antico Podere” Holiday House in Valiano (SI)
The “Antico Podere”, Holiday House located in Valiano di Montepulciano (SI) is a fine farmhouse situated in a quiet and panoramic area that overlooks the splendid Valdichiana.
The structure consists of an ancient farmhouse of 1788, now completely renovated and restored to its former glory, provided with all the modern comforts. Restructuring works have left unchanged its original design with typical Tuscan arches and vaults in beams and red bricks. The house has seven delicious apartments (one equipped for disabled) all furnished with care and elegance, each with bathroom and kitchen fitted out with autonomous oven and refrigerator, LCD TV satellite, heating gas, wood fireplace.
Guests can avail of large outdoor spaces for relaxing, parking cars and a swimming pool equipped with an enchanting view of the Valdichiana, characterized by sweet and sinuous hills of vineyards, olive groves and forests.

Tulipani: Located on the ground floor, cosists of a bedroom, bathroom with shower, huge living room with kicthenette, sofa bed and fireplace. Private external area. This apartment is ideal for 2/4 people.
Ortensie: Located at ground floor, consists of a bedroom, bathroom with shower (equipped for disabled), living room, kitchenette and sofa bed. This apartment is ideal for 2/3 people.
Glicini: Located on the first floor, consists of a bedroom, bathroom with shower, large living room with kitchenette and sofa to 2 squares, sitting area with beautiful fireplace and another sofa bed. Ideal for 2/5 people.
Iris: Located on the first floor, consists of a bedroom, bathroom with shower, living area, kitchen, sofa bed, ideal for 2/3 people.
Peonie: Located on the first floor, consists of 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, large living room with kitchen, sofa bed. Ideal for 4/6 people.
Giacinti: Located on the ground floor, consists of a bedroom, bathroom with shower, living room with small kitchen and sofa bed. Private external area.

Walking through the "Streets of Vino Nobile", which wind through the territory of the Municipality of Montepulciano, you’ll arrive at Castle Valiano. The area of this ancient Medieval feud, nestled between Montepulciano, Cortona and Lake Trasimeno, is characterized by sweet and sinuous hills rich in vineyards, olive trees and forests and is crossed after Reglia and Granducale Channel Master della Chiana.
The historic core of Valiano is 330 metres above sea level at the centre of the municipality, from 1774 annexed to that of Montepulciano. The village of the Castle still retains the essential characteristics typical of Architecture with its medieval walls, embankments, buttresses, towers corner and the narrow alleys here called "wrinkles", which are almost lived to underline the now its millennial history.
