Northampton is the 3rd largest town in the UK with respect to population. A mere 100km drive from London increases its accessibility and gives it an edge over the distant towns. Although it has not yet got title of city officially it still attracts people from all corners of the UK. That's why it has become a county town of Northamptonshire.

The greatest attraction for tourist is the Smith College Botanic Garden. The amazing greenery will grab your attention even from a distance. You can always find the seasonal tropical plants of every kind spread across the garden abundantly. There is an adjacent Japanese tea garden which always offers its tender environment to the tourists. You will always find visitor's standing in the garden taking photographs of this memorable visit. It is recommended to take your kids with you in this magnificent collection of plants so that they may develop an interest in the essential building block of oxygen.

There is another amazing park named Frank Newhall Look Memorial. It has an amazing zoo and you can enjoy the latest miniature golf course with friends and family. Not all the entrances are ticketed there are plenty of places that you can enjoy freely. The town offers many other amazing parks that always attract native and foreign visitors all around the year but the peak season is said to be the summer.

The church of The Holy Sepulchre is not only the oldest building in the town but certainly the largest Church of England. Throughout the history it is preserved and a heavy budget is always allocated for the maintenance of the amazing building.
