| Weekend Golf Packages at Woburn Golf and Country Club Woburn Golf & Country Club is located at the village of Woburn, Bedfordshire, just 45 miles North of the Centre of London. It is owned by the European PGA (50%) and by the Duke of Bedford Estates (50%). Woburn GCC has been host to the Dunhill British Master for over 20 years - winners included most famous names Ron the European and US PGA Tours. Since the involvement of the European PGA a third course has been completed (Marquess) which is already rated among the finest Inland Courses in Great Britain. For the next 10 years Woburn GCC will be the venue of the Victor Chandler British Masters - played on the Duke's Course but probably moving to the Marquess Course from 2001 onwards. It is also the venue for the Weetabix British Women's Open every three years - coming back to Woburn again in 2002. For regular Green Fee players the Course can be playedfrom Monday to Friday only, play is restricted to membersonly during weekends. The Green Fee for a day's Golf during the week is £ 100 and includes carvery lunch between 2 rounds of Golf. The course is extremely busy andadvanced bookings are necessary. Despite of its popularity the Greenkeeper Staff at Woburn GCC take great pride to present the course in an immaculate condition at any time. It may also be interesting to note that Woburn GCC has now got about 1250 members and the quality of Golf played atthe Club is demonstrated by the fact that over 200 of thoseare single figure handicappers. In other words - it is a Golfer's paradise and the Club is proud of its achievements. |
| Packages Special Arrangements have been made to enable guests at the White House B/B, Little Brickhill (in walking distance to the Clubhouse) to play Golf at weekends. The number of guests is limited, as is the timing - on Club Competition weekends it will not be possible to play as a guest. Weekend Golf for guests of the White House B/B can be played on any of the three Championship courses, the MARQUESS, the DUKE's or the DUCHESS. The White House B/B in Little Brickhill has double Bedrooms with TV and ensuite Bath- or Shower Room facilities. It is located in a village environment, there are 2 local Pubs offering excellent food and drink as well as the opportunity to mix with the local rural community. Weekend shooting and fishing activities is also arranged at special requests. Golf Packages are available for single days or for both Saturday and Sunday. They include full B/B, one round or two rounds of Golf per day, the complete organisation of the stay both in the village and at the Club where all facilities can be used on the day. They do not include lunch at the Club but this can be arranged at prior notice.
