Strawberry Hill is well located for days out in Suffolk and surrounding areas.

The area is popular for sailing, it's coastal and forest walks, cycle trails and exploring a multitude of historic churches.

Nearby are a number of golf courses. Snape Maltings, with its many craft shops, is home to the internationally famous Aldeburgh Festival and is approximately a 15 minute drive away.

The Anglo Saxon burial mounds and National Trust visitor centre at Sutton Hoo are 3 miles away and the castles of Framlingham and Orford are a short journey by car. Further up the coast are Southwold and the RSPB reserve at Minsmere.




There are numerous pubs and restaurants close by which offer good meals at reasonable prices.

Strawberry Hill is a non smoking house and cannot accommodate pets




Directions:

From the A12 turn right onto the A1152. At the traffic lights turn left onto the B1438.

Continue for 1 ½ miles passing Melton Park on the left and Ufford Park Hotel on the right.

When you see a "no entry" sign ahead, do not bear left, but, crossing the road markings turn right to Lower Ufford.In half a mile turn left at the "T" junction (signed Loudham and Campsea Ashe).

Continue for ¼ mile passing Spring lane on the left then stop at the junction with East Lane to the right.

Here you will see Strawberry Hill's B/B sign just ahead and to the right. Do not go down East Lane!
