BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

BookingsWhen an inquiry about a booking is made it will remain provisional until confirmed by the person seeking the booking. To confirm the booking, a deposit equal to two thirds of one night's accommodation charge must be paid by cheque, stirling travellers' cheque or cash (stirling or euros).

CancellationsIf the booking has to be cancelled by the persons making the booking they are still responsible for payment of the entire booking period unless the proprietors are able to re-let the room. The cancellation payment equates to two thirds of each night for which the room is not re-let. It is not always possible to re-let a room especially at the start and finish of a season or when notice is very short. The same procedure will apply if a booked stay has to be curtailed. If the proprietors have to cancel or curtail a booking, they will make every effort to find equivalent accommodation in the local area. There is a cheap and simple procedure to minimise any cancellation charges by taking out holiday insurance and the proprietors are able to provide information and application forms for this scheme.

Lyme Regis, gateway town to the UNESCO World heritage site of the Jurassic Coast, with its ancient Cobb Harbour - whence ships sailed to meet the Armada - remains unspoilt yet offers a wide range of activities. For the more energetic there is golfing, deep sea fishing, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, safe bathing, fossil gathering and limitless walking in lovely countryside and along coastal paths.Subject to season, trout fishing can be arranged locally through the Red House. For others the rich scenery and pretty villages make car touring a delight. Within a short radius lies an abundance of venues which cater for all ages and a comprehensive range of interests.
