| Breakfast Menu From 7.15 - 9.15 Freshly squeezed orange or grapefruit juice. Half grapefruit with Angostura bitters. Fresh fruit. Cornflakes, Weetabix, Muesli, Porridge Whole kipper with grilled tomato. Black pudding with fried apple. Scrambled eggs on toast with smoked trout (Caught by Mike and smoked locally). French toast. Boiled egg. Omelette. The Queen Anne Cottage platter: Egg (fried, poached, scrambled), bacon with marmalade sauce, pork sausage, black pudding, tomato, mushrooms (wild ones if we are lucky enough to find some!) Toasted white or wholemeal bread Home-made marmalade and preserves Coffee Caffetiere, decaffeinated Tea Bricklayers, decaffeinated, Earl Grey, Chai, fruit Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietry requirements and we will do our best to meet them. | Location Directions to Goodworth Clatford, Hampshire. From London by car: Take M3 in direction of Winchester. Turn off M3 onto A303 at junction 8. Turn off A303 at junction with A3057 signposted to Stockbridge. Turn right at intersection towards Stockbridge. After approx 1 mile turn right to Goodworth Clatford. At end of Church Lane turn left at junction towards Stockbridge. Queen Anne Cottage is opposite TheClatford Arms pub Average journey time 1hr 20mins. By train: To Andover, Taxis outside station. From London Waterloo there are frequent services on South West Trains. Take trains bound for Exeter-St-Davids to Andover. Opposite the railway station you will find a taxi for the 10 minute journey to Goodworth Clatford. |
