The Parsonage Bar/Restaurant has the intimate appeal if private members club and is open from breakfast to 11:30pm serving modern British classics, its emphasis being on fresh local ingredients. Whether it's the simplicity of a good steak and chips, stunning seafood imported from Jersey or a lobster salad in summer, you'll be gauranteed great quality food and service. From June to the end of September there is a nightly barbeque on the front terrace, and live jazz every on Friday.

Sister Restaurants Gee's, formally a florist and greengrocer is situated a short walk from the hotel. A Victorian conservatory Gee's now houses an elegant restaurant and bar with a collection of Gary Hulmes artwork. Comfortable banquettes surround the restaurant's perimeter with tables dressed in white linen. A glamorous pitt stop for pre and post theatre diners and a famous local landmark. Food focuses on modernBritish with the emphais on quality seasonal produce. Head Chef Michael Wright leads a team of 10 chefs who combine age, class and experience with youth and enthusiasm their philosophy being to source the best possible ingredients and support local and regional suppliers.

Beef from our owner Jeremy Mogford's Farm in Oxfordshire, traditional cured bacon from Wiltshire, Durroc Pork from Suffolk and fish and shellfish direct from Jersey and local cheese such as Isis and Oxford Blue are all regulars on our menu.

Jazz every Sunday night at Gee's has become something of an institution in Oxford. Gee's is open all days on Saturday and Sunday.

Being a University town the young, cosmopolitan staff double as poets, philosophers and artists. They are well-drilled, having a broad knowledge of the menu and wine list importing quality yet unobstrusive service.
