| Oak Apple Farm is an attractive 1920's farmhouse, which is now run as a bed and breakfast by Rosie Helliwell. The accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms, one double (two beds together) with en-suite and one twin room with private bathroom opposite and one single bedroom, all tastefully decorated. There is colour TV and coffee/tea making facilities in each room. |
| The house is situated about ½ mile off the A12 on the edge of Constable country. There are plenty of excellent walks with the Essex Way nearby, and it is a good base for touring East Anglia. Colchester is about 4 miles and it is convenient for the Business Park, the port of Harwich and Beth Chatto's Garden. There is a 1½ acre garden; with attractive rose beds, herbaceous borders, a water garden and a patio. The house is within walking distance of the local pub, the Shepherd and Dog, and there are many good restaurants nearby. It is run on a friendly 'home from home' basis, and it is used by many friends of people living in Langham, who may be having a party, celebration or wedding. |
