 Newton Lodge is a small non smoking hotel purposely built to offer quality en-suite accommodation. The Lodge nestles between Quinag, a well known mountain and the sea, with spectacular views of mountains and the sea. Here you will find a warm welcome, comfort and home cooking, to enable you to enjoy your holiday. We also hold a residents licence for wine or spirits. |
| During your holiday you will find lots of things to do in the area. Should you want to just relax and unwind then this is the place to do so, or you may wish to discover some of the interesting local attractions. Beautiful, lonely, unspoilt beaches are within easy access and there are numerous walks in the area. These can be taken as a leisurely stroll, or you attempt one of the more adventurous mountain walks. |  |
 | Handa island, a famous bird sanctuary is nearby, and there are frequent boat crossings during the summer. You may spend a whole day there if you wish. Another popular activity is exploring the caves at Inchnadamph. From Kylesku you can take a boat trip to see the highest waterfall in Britain, with its drop of 658f. You will also be able to obtain a closer look at the seal colony during the trip. Trout fishing can be obtained locally. Above all else, the area is famous for its beautiful scenery and the many people who return year after year testify to this. |
Our dining room serves breakfast offering a buffet style cereal selection, followed by a choice of traditional breakfast or kippers. We serve a 3 course table d'hotel evening meal followed by tea or coffee served in the lounge. |
LoungeThe Lounge is peaceful and relaxing. The dark beams create a country lodge atmosphere, and here you may relax with your after dinner coffee or drink in one of our Chesterfield couches or chairs. The views from the lounge are usually described as breathtaking as it overlooks the sea below and the mountains beyond. We also overlook a small seal colony, so guests may spend exciting moments watching the seals splash around. You may also take a walk on the shore line to obtain a closer view of the seal family. |
 We have 3 twin bedded and four double bedded rooms. The rooms have Colour TV, hair dryer, radio/alarm and Tea/coffee making facilities. All are en-suite with shower or bath and are tastefully decorated for your comfort. Most rooms offer sea or mountain views. One of the double rooms is a luxury four poster. |
