A hunting lodge built c.1830 for Sir Culling Eardley Bart, having seen many uses since as a family home and business in the centre of the former 80 acre estate. Still approached down a woodland drive, it is now neighbour to a luxury caravan holiday home park.
Market Rasen Racecourse, a number of fishing ponds, golf, horse-riding, and clay pigeon shooting, are all a short drive away.
The Lincolnshire Wolds designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is popular with walkers and cyclists. The Viking Way footpath crosses the A46 at Nettleton and the National Cycle Route 1 (Hull to Fakenham) crosses the A46 near Swallow.
The Historic City of Lincoln and market towns of Louth, Horncastle, Brigg, are all within reasonable driving distance for a day or half-day out, as is the beach resort of Cleethorpes.
Humberside Airport is approx. 10 minutes by car. Free holiday parking for our guests.

Suite
Guests booking both Rooms benefit from the accomdation being a self-contained suite on the first floor, with adjacent lounge and breakfast room (a mini kitchen enables guests to prepare a snack or enjoy a take-away as an alternative to dining in the bar/lounge) Ideal for a family or a group holiday (maximum occupancy 6 persons). Weekly terms on request.

Caravans
Please register pitch occupied, vehicle number, Caravan Club Membership, and make payment, in the bar on the evening of arrival. For bookings of 2 nights or more late departure up to 4pm, subject to pitch availability, is without charge. For 1 night bookings extra bookings extra night charge applies after 12 noon.
