| A b o u t . . . Dating back to the 1600s, The Lord Crewe is a grade II listed hotel. Commanding truly spectacular views of arguably Britain's finest castle we are perfectly placed for those who wish to enjoy all aspects of what the region has to offer.Developed from an old country inn, the hotel retains an atmosphere and charm of a bygone era whilst enjoying the luxuries of modern living. Our 18 bedrooms (17 ensuite) are comfortably furnished and have direct dial telephones, televisions, hair dryers and tea & coffee making facilities. Catering for those special occasions the "Forster suite", incorporating a four poster bed, cannot go without mention. Our award winning Wynding Inn restaurant is the perfect place for an intimate dinner for two or for the larger, less intimate event. Forsters Bar offers the perfect place for a relaxing drink, light snacks along with bar lunches and evening bar meals for those who prefer to dine in the bar.
