Welcome to Holmbury Farm bed and breakfast, a traditional style farmhouse with stables, ancillary buildings and home to a flock of Jacob Sheep, a rare attractive horned breed. Holmbury Farm is set high in the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty and surrounded by 80 acres of farmland, woodland and an angling lake. These breathtaking views are all around and far reaching towards the south coast. |
Accommodation Three bedrooms are available for guests. An en-suite family room with twin beds and single in annex (a further fourth bed for additional child is available on request) a double room, also en-suite and a large single room with private bathroom. All rooms have satellite television, hairdryer, safe, alarm clock and coffee and tea making facilities. Fridge and ironing board are available on request and a sauna by arrangement

Facilities Situated on a bridle path, the farm is central for numerous country walks and cycling. Leith and Holmbury Hills are nearby as well as many informal pubs and excellent restaurants. A tennis court and angling lake is available for guests, and a games room with pooltable, darts and bar billiards. Nearby sporting facilities include polo, golf and horse riding and Wisley horticultural gardens. Horse racing at Sandown, Epsom and Goodwood, Windsor castle, Hampton Court Palace, London and the south coast are all within a 40 minute drive. |
Transport Approximately 6 miles to Dorking, 10 miles to Guildford and Horsham, 30 miles to London and to the south coast in the opposite direction but Guildford has a more frequent fast service to LondonHeathrow is an hour's drive and Gatwick half an hour. The nearest railway station is Dorking, but Guildford has a more frequent fast service to London |
Directions Directions From M25 Leatherhead. Junction 9. Head south on the A24 past Dorking to Beare Green. At the roundabout turn right onto A29 towards Ockley. At Ockley village turn right B2126 to Holmbury St Mary and Cranleigh. Take third turning right just after Forest Green into Cotton Row (sharp left hand bend) Holmbury Farm is found on the left side. Turn left up this long straight drive and the house will be found at the top.
