 | Higher Coombe Farm is the ideal base for exploring East Devon's small towns and picturesque villages, not forgetting the historic cathedral city of Exeter and also Dartmoor and Exmoor. There are many places of interest and events to visit and opportunities for various outdoor and indoor leisure activities. |
But most of all we want you to enjoy a relaxing stay with us in an informal friendly atmosphere.
The accommodation consists of one family room, one twin or double-bedded room, one double-bedded room with en-suite shower and one single room. All have Colour TV, washbasins, Tea/coffee making facilities and adjustable central heating.
Guests have the use of their own bathroom, dining room and lounge with Colour TV. A log fire is lit on those cold spring and autumn evenings.
| Children are most welcome, with cot, high chair, board games and jigsaws available. We do not normally accept any pets, but exceptions can be made under certain circumstances. We serve a full English breakfast that will set you up for the rest of the day. |  |

HIGHER COOMBE BUNGALOW
| If you are a group of up to 6 people wanting more privacy, we also have a self-catering 3-bedroom bungalow (sleeps 6 + cot) with a large south-facing garden. It is in a peaceful, sheltered position opposite the farmhouse. Friday changeover, with weekly bookings offered all year and short breaks (Fri-Mon or Mon-Fri) available 1 October - 30 April (excluding school holiday periods). At other times short breaks may be accepted within 14 days of arrival date. Weekly rates £390-£890. Please phone 01404 813385 for more details. |
DIRECTIONS:
- From the A30 go into Ottery St Mary.
- Take the Sidmouth road out of the town.
- Continue for 2 miles.
- Turn left towards "Coombe Waxway".
- From the M5 come off at junction 30.
- Take A3052 towards Sidmouth.
- At "Bowd Inn" turn left towards Ottery St Mary, continue for 1 1/2 miles.
- Turn right towards "Coombe Waxway"; continue for just under 1/2 mile.
- Higher Coombe Farm is up on the left.
