Greenwood Lodge was built in 1834 a fine late Regency, early Victorian House. Situated less than a mile from the city centre in a quiet area and is the home of Sue and Doug Pearse who offer a warm welcome. The only guest house in Nottingham to receive a gold award from the English Tourism Council. COME ON IN Guests are very welcome to sit in our quiet and secluded garden, surrounded by a fine selection of shrubs and trees.Secure off street parking. A great reception awaits you in this fine house filled with a collection of paintings and fine antiques.  In the comfort of our elegant lounge you can just sit and relax and enjoy a glass of fine wine, malt whiskey, or whatever takes your fancy!  Breakfast is served in the elegance of our fine conservatory, from where you can sit and watch the squirrels and birds enjoying their breakfast!  The warmth and elegance of our bedrooms will make you feel at home. All rooms are en suite and have hospitality tray, trouser press, television and hairdryer and are non smoking.

| FROM M1: Leave the motorway at EXIT 26 and follow the A610 towards Nottingham. Pass over the ring road. On your left hand side you will see the Volvo/Fiat dealership SPEEDS. At the second set of TRAFFIC lights AFTER Speeds turn left. This is GREGORY BOULEVARD. At the end of the boulevard you come to a roundabout, turn left. This is SHERWOOD RISE. Third avenue is the THIRD turning on your LEFT. FROM A1: Take the A52 into NOTTINGHAM CITY CENTRE. Take the A60 MANSFIELD ROAD out of the city. About three quarters of a mile out of the city you will arrive at a roundabout, turn LEFT, this takes you onto a mini roundabout, turn RIGHT, this road is SHERWOOD RISE, and Third Avenue is the THIRD turning on your LEFT. FROM MANSFIELD OR A614: Take the A60 towards Nottingham, you will pass the original facade of the HOME BREWERY, and drive through SHERWOOD SHOPS. Eventually you will pass THE NOTTINGHAM MOAT HOUSE HOTEL, immediately after you will come to a roundabout, turn right, this takes you onto a mini roundabout, turn RIGHT, this road is SHERWOOD RISE, and Third Avenue is the THIRD turning on your LEFT. FROM CITY CENTRE: Take A60 MANSFIELD ROAD, half a mile from the city centre you come to a roundabout, turn left this takes you onto a small roundabout, turn RIGHT, this road is SHERWOOD RISE, and Third Avenue is the THIRD turning on your LEFT. FROM NOTTINGHAM UNIVERSITY: Take the A52 towards NOTTINGHAM, you will pass QUEENS MEDICAL CENTRE. The second set of traffic lights after the hospital turn LEFT onto LENTON BOULEVARD, this leads onto RADFORD BOULEVAD and this leads onto GREGORY BOULEVARD, at the end you will come to a roundabout, turn left, this is SHERWOOD RISE, and third avenue turning on the left.
