Weare a small family run guesthouse situated in the suburbs of north Birmingham approximately half way between Birmingham and Walsall. We are on the main A34 road about 4 miles from the city centre, and opposite a large Public House - Restaurant called 'The Towers' which offer a good selectionof food and drink, and ideally situated for Alexander Sports Stadium,David Lloyd Centre, University of Central England and being on a mainbus route, there is good access to the city centre including the National Indoor Arena, the Jewellery Quarters and other places of interest.

In line with City of Birmingham guidelines we are a non-smoking establishment, however smokers are invited to sit on the patio and enjoy their smoke with their welcoming tray.

Being a small guesthouse we are able to give individual friendly service, which you may not get, even from a large hotel. We have two twin rooms and two single rooms; all having hot and cold washing facilities and all have colour TV. There are showers and toilets just a few feet away across the landing.

Our prices include a full Englishbreakfast, or Continental if preferred, and a welcoming tray each daywith homemade cakes. However we no longer provide eveningmeals since with a very reasonably priced restaurant across the road, most of our guests take the opportunity to 'eat out' and enjoy a drink without having to drive. Anyone wishing to bring in a 'take-away' is welcome to do so providing it is eaten in the dining room and not in the bedrooms (before 22.30 hours, please).

For the convenience of visitors a 'pay phone' is installed in the entranceway.

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS

When making a booking, you are requested to send a non refundable deposit equal to the value of your first night stay. This deposit can either be in cash or cheque. Until such a deposit has been received a room(s) is not considere as "being booked". It is regretted that we now have to insist on this deposit, which is due to an increasing number of bookings being made, for which rooms are kept, but no-one arrives, and being a small business we can no longer stand these losses. Final payment can be cash, personal cheque, providing a cheque guarantee card covers it.

Parking on the premises is limited, but there is ample free parking on the car park of the Towers public house.

DIRECTIONS

We are ideally situated in the suburbs of North Birmingham on the main A34 road approximately half way between BIRMINGHAM and WALSALL

If you travel by car you will need junction No 7 (M6 Motorway) and turn towards BIRMINGHAM on the main A34 road. You will cross a main road junction with traffic lights (A4041) in about 0.25 mile. Keep straight on for a further 0.75 mile and we are situated on your left hand side, opposite a large Public House - Restaurant called 'THE TOWERS'

If you travel by publictransport you need to catch bus No 51 or 52 (or if one arrives, a 951 or 952 which is a limited stop bus and much quicker) from the City Centre. It is 'pay as you enter' so change is needed (just under £1) since no change is given. Ask for CLIFTON BINGO HALL. If you are on the 51 bus(or 951, or 952) get off just after the traffic lights onthe main road, if you are on the 52 bus it will turn right at these traffic lights and stops 20 metres down Beeches Road. We are about 200 metres further up the main road on your right hand side.

Trains. There is not a convenient train service since the nearest railway station is 'Hamstead' but there is no direct bus service from there to here (1.5 miles). Alternatively there is Perry Barr station, which will connect you with the No 51 and 52 bus service outside the One Stop Shopping Centre

We wish you a safe and pleasant journey
