    | Welcome to Duporth Guest House Duporth Guest House in Penzance is an elegant Victorian building set in a conservation area just off Penzance Promenade. We have magnificent uninterrupted sea views across Mounts Bay and the small fishing village of Newlyn. The guesthouse has been fully refurbished as of March 2011. It is ideally located for tourists and business people alike. It is ideal location for people who want to experience the history and beauty of picturesque Cornwall. The centre of town is only a 10-minute walk away where you can find the famous Chapel street and dine in your choice of restaurant or café to suit your taste. We are once again only a 10-minute walk away from the harbour where you can access the Scillonian III ferry to the Isles of Scilly. Long stay parking for the Isles of Scilly is also only a stones throw away. There is plenty of free on-street parking surrounding the guesthouse. We also offer wireless Internet free of charge to all guests. Children welcome. Any children under 4 years old are free of charge and above half price. We the hosts, are a small family run business, who will always do our best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. All rooms All of the guest bedrooms are decorated to a high standard to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. You can expect your room to include the following: En-suite bathroom, Bath and hand towels, Tea and Coffee making facilities, Fridge, Microwave, Toaster, Dining area, Central heating, T.V with freeview, Hairdryer, Free WI-FI for all guests. Ironing board and iron are available upon request. All rooms on the back of the property have uninterrupted sea views over Mounts Bay. Facilities and Amenities We are a non-smoking establishment, we have a nice seating area at the front of our property where smokers are welcome. There is plenty of free on-street parking surrounding our guest house. Dining OptionsWe offer a self-serve continental breakfast in each of our rooms. The breakfast includes:Fresh milk, Selection of cereals, Bread and croissant, Butter and preserves, Yoghurt and Honey, Fresh orange juice. In addition to this a fully cooked breakfast is available on request. We are a non smoking establishment Directions M5 South from Bristol (1.0mi, 1.6km) Take the M5 South from Bristol to Exeter where you join the A30. Stay on this all the way to Penzance. Follow signs to Penzance promenade and turn right at the mini roundabout into Alexandra Road. Mennaye Road is the second road on the right and Glencree House is on the right hand side. M5 south A30 penzance (120.0mi, 193.1km) M5 take A30 bodmin then penzance, when entering penzance follow signs for ferry & newlyn carry on along the seafront promenade until your first mini island in front of beechwood hotel, turn right into alexander rd, then 2nd right by church like building into mennaye rd, duporth is first building on your right. |
