We are also only a few minutes from the University, Taylors Bell Foundry, Prestwold Hall and Beaumanor Hall. We have ten lovely decorated rooms most with original cast iron fireplaces all of which have en-suite or private facilities. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and colour TV. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us, and will recommend us to your friends.
The De Montfort is suitable for hire as a base for large parties such as visiting teams to the University. Weekly and weekend rates available on request. Situated just around the corner is the Peacock Inn, a traditional local inn with a large car park. All guests staying at the De Montfort check in and pick up keys at the Peacock first. Breakfasts are served at the peacock inn mon to Friday 7 till 11am and 8 - 11am Saturday, dinner by arrangement.
