| The Chimes - under various names - has been a guest house since it was built around 1870 originally being used by fishermen. |  |
| Rooms | The letting rooms are made up of 2 ensuite doubles, 1 twin, 2 singles and 2 versatile ensuite family rooms. All rooms are comfortably furnished, with hot and cold water and are centrally heated. All rooms have a colour television, freeview, tea, coffee and biscuits, towels and soaps, shaving points and the use of a hairdryer.
There is a guest's bathroom and toilet, a separate shower room with toilet and a separate toilet. Hand and bath towels are provided.

| Location | Just 75 yards from the cenotaph with its gardens and seating areas and within a few minutes walk from the railway station. The Chimes is perfectly situated for easy access to the town centre shops, Spa Theatre and both the North and South beach.

We have a comfortable lounge area for our guests to relax, chat and watch TV, which is incorporated in to the dining room.
The Chimes is a non smoking establishment. Full English breakfast is served at 8.30am Monday to Saturday and 9.00am on Sunday. An optional four course evening meal is available at 6pm, which can be booked during breakfast on the day and should not be missed.
