| Burwood Lodge Guest House offers bed and breakfast accommodation to a high standard and is set in half an acre of grounds with ample private parking to the front. There are six guest bedrooms, a combination of single, twin, double and family bedrooms each equipped with en-suite shower, WC and wash basin. All rooms have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities. We have a four poster bedroom for that special romantic celebration or anniversary. There is a large lawned garden to the rear, and when the weather is less pleasant a guest lounge with board games and colour televisions for guest's enjoyment. ![]() We offer a full cooked English breakfast and can cater for vegetarians, or those with special diets on request, this is served in our peaceful dining room. ![]() |

| The Mews A typical quaint village cottage tucked away down a quiet lane off Lyndhurst. It is well equipped as a self catering holiday home with fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and automatic washing machine/tumble dryer. The ground floor comprises of a kitchen/dining room and lounge with a bed sofa and downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor there are two bedrooms - the Master bedroom has a double bed and the second room has two single beds. The bathroom has a WC, wash basin and bath with separate shower. There is a small garden to the rear which is equipped with a garden table and chairs. Linen is included and there are duvets on all beds. Linen, hand a bath towels are changed at the end of each week. A cot, high chair and stair gate are available on request, by prior arrangement. You are welcome to smoke in the garden. Sorry no pets. |

| Surrounding Area The New Forest was created more than nine centuries ago by William the Conqueror, and many of the traditions which exist here have remained since medieval times. Ponies, cattle, donkies and deer have right of way and wander through the forest, at certain times of the year pigs join these free roaming animals to search out acorns under the forest's canopy. The 150 square miles of New Forest, lie out there just waiting to be explored and cycling, fishing, walking, swimming, golf, horse riding and sailing are all available to help you enjoy it to the full. Lyndhurst is an ideal base for visiting the many places of interest which include the New Forest Museum and Visitor Centre, Beaulieu with it's palace house (home of Lord Montague) and roman villa, Sammy Millers motorcycle museum, Moors Valley country park, a variety of golf courses, Paultons Park which is particularly interesting for children, Eling tide mill, Longdown dairy farm, Furzey gardens and have a special experience at The New Forest Badger Watch. |
