![]() Boyds Farm is a family run arable farm, growing wheat, barley and potatoes. It is also home to a herd of pedigree Hereford cattle. Guests are free to wander anywhere on the farm, or go for walks in the surrounding countryside, with it's abundance of local wildlife. The local pub is a tranquil 10 minute stroll from the house, or a short drive offers a choice of restaurants. |
From the moment you arrive you will experience the famous hospitality of Dorothy, as she offers you a choice of tea or coffee, with delicious homemade cakes, taken either in the lounge of her 16th century Farmhouse, with its woodburning stove, or during the summer, in her beautiful well stocked garden. |
You truly get a sense of staying in Dorothy's home, as opposed to a room in a hotel, because of all her ornaments and antiques which are displayed throughout the house, creating a warm welcoming feeling.

All rooms are spacious, each with it's own individual character, and decorated to a high standard, using every modern convenience to meet guestsneeds including; TV, radio/alarm, hairdryers, and tea & coffee making facilities. 1 room is en suite and 2 have private bathrooms. ![]() The accommodation suits families, couples, or singles, staying for one night or longer breaks. | Boyds Farm has been featured in Daily Express, Daily Mail & Observer. Boyds Farm is well situated for visiting Bath and the Cotswolds, the Stately Homes of Corsham Court, Bowood House and Gardens. The National Trust Village of Lacock with it's Fox Talbot Museum and Abbey, where Pride and Prejudice was filmed. Castle Combe, one of Englands prettiest villages,Westonbirt Arboretum, Avebury, Stonehenge, Wookey Hole, Salisbury and the Wiltshire White Horses are only a short drive away. If you like your golf, a small course is only 5 minutes drive from the farm, or we can recommend several other courses in the area. ![]() ![]() Boyds Farm is situated close to the small village of Gastard on the B3353 Corsham and Melksham. From Corsham you will see the sign for Boyds Farm on the right just at the top of the hill as you leave the village, quarter of a mile between the fields to the farmhouse. |
