By the end of February 2007 all bedrooms will have been refurbished within the previous 24 months. The AA awarded Beaumont House 4 Red Diamonds for 2005/2006 placing it in the top 10% of 4 diamond establishments. We anticipate being regarded to 5 star guest accommodation during 2007.
Set in a beautiful garden; within walking distance of the town centre and only 5 minutes walk to local shops and restaurants; with ample off street parking, Beaumont House is your BEST choice and we hope, it will be your FIRST choice when visiting Cheltenham and the Cotswolds.
Our Rooms
Our rooms are all non smoking for the comfort and safety of all our guests.
For an unforgettable stay, we can highly recommend the "PRESTBURY SUITE", "OUT OF AFRICA" and "OUT OF ASIA" rooms, complete with whirlpool baths, power showers and large televisions & DVD players.
In March 2006 our top floor reopened with the creation of contemporary new Studio rooms - all with full en suite bathrooms with power showers over the bathtub. Studio rooms - all have been furnished with luxury Hypnos brand beds - Superking, King or Twins. All are equipped with generous size LCD televisions and minibars.
By the end of February 2007 all standard rooms will have been refurbished. All standard rooms are en-suite with either power showers or powerful electric showers. These rooms, as are all at Beaumont House, are furnished with top quality Hypnos brand beds and mattresses. All rooms have wall mounted LCD televisions with SKY Sports, a free to use wired Broadband connection point and a personal safe that can accommodate laptops. All rooms are supplied with quality toiletries and a complimentary beverage tray including still mineral water.
For the business guest, all rooms have FREE BROADBAND connection point and safes that will accommodate laptop computers.

About Us
Beaumont House was purchased by the current owners, Fan and Alan Bishop in September 2004. It is now run as a luxury private guest house. Fan and Alan know how to make their guests feel "extra special" with their friendly but professional touch. Both have extensive international hospitality experience.
Please be advised that for the comfort of all our guests, we follow a non-smoking policy at the hotel.
The Residents Lounge at Beaumont House is a great place to relax. Listen to the local BBC radio station - raido Gloucester, catch up with the daily papers, enjoy complimentary cappuccino, coffee and tea at any time during your stay and just be at home!
 
The mature gardens of Beaumont House Hotel make an ideal retreat to enjoy a relaxing pre-dinner drink from our Trust Bar or to sit and enjoy a novel during a sunny afternoon. This is the one and only area of the hotel where smokers can enjoy their passion!
Location
The hotel is situated at the Cheltenham end of the A46 Shurdington Road, which is the extension of the A46 Bath Road south of Cheltenham town centre.
From the M40 Oxford, when entering Cheltenham from the A40 look for the sign for the A46 Stroud & Shurdington. At the roundabout in Bath Road, take the right hand road at the Norwood Arms Pub. The hotel is 200 yards on the left after the pub, before the traffic lights.
From the M5 North, take exit 11 and follow sign to Cheltenham. At the first roundabout (Golden Valley) exit the roundabout at 2 o clock and follow sign towards Shurdington. Go past the large B&Q store. Proceed around several small roundabouts, always following the signs to Shurdington. IGNORE all signs for Cheltenham. Eventually on a straight road [Up Hatherley Way], you will go past Morrisons supermarket on your left. At the next T-junction/roundabout turn left & follow the sign to Cheltenham. You are now on the A46. After one mile, and after having passed through pedestrian lights, you will reach traffic lights controlling a small junction. Carry on straight over this junction and the hotel is the fourth property on your right.
From the M5 South, take exit 11A and follow the signs to Cirencester, Stroud & Cheltenham (A46) on the A417. After about 1 mile you see a sign for the A46. Follow this direction and join the dual carriageway. After a short distance you will see a slip road exit for the A46. Follow this and at the top at the roundabout follow the sign to Cheltenham for 3 miles. You will drive through Shurdington Village and then come to a roundabout. Proceed straight across the roundabout and pass the sign "Welcome to Cheltenham". After one mile, and having passed through pedestrian lights, that you will reach traffic lights controlling a small junction. Carry on straight over this junction and the hotel is the 4th property on your right.
From the M4, take junction 15 at Swindon and follow the A419 towards Cirencester & Gloucester. At Cirencester follow the A417 to Gloucester. Eventually after the sign to Birdlip", which you ignore, you will come to a roundabout with the "Air Balloon Pub" on your left. Follow the A417 and go past and around the Pub towards Gloucester & Cheltenham Centre & Stroud A46. After mile you will see the sign for A46 Stroud & Cheltenham, follow the slip road. Get onto this road at the roundabout and drive towards Cheltenham for 3 miles. You will have gone over a little roundabout, come across the signs "Welcome to Cheltenham" on your right. After that you will come to a set of traffic lights, go over these and the hotel is the 4th property on your right.
