Hopefully on arrival you will have time for a welcoming drinkin the garden, or perhaps by the wood fire in the lounge:
You will be one of a maximum of six B&B guests that we limit our service to. Your room will have fabulous views, a particularly comfortable bed and a choice of generous bathroom or shower room. ![]() (if you need two bedrooms then also see our private suite, detailed later)
Every bathroom or shower-room has a dedicated water-supply, so you can always enjoy a refreshing soak, and the water temperature should never change, to scalding-hot or freezing-cold…. like it does in so many places. When you return from a day out you can relax in the lounge; enjoy a hot drink, read a good book, have a chat, before getting a really good nights sleep.(far from Cities, Towns and noisy roads) |

| After Breakfast,spend a day in the centre of Britain: Take short walks to the local nature reserve, the bluebell woods, the cliff-top paths, the Derwent Valley and the Amber Valley. Walk in any direction for the National Heritage Corridor and visit Strutt's Mill, Arkwright's Mill, Cromford Mill, Crich National Tramway Museum, and the working steam engines that pump, pull and lift. Take short drives to the Midland Railway Centre, and Denby Pottery. Visit the great country estates of Chatsworth House, Kedleston hall, Wingfield Manor, Haddon Hall and Hardwick hall. Visit the Peak District for; long walks along the Edges, the Blue John Caves, Castleton, Ladybower Dam, Dovedale, High Peak, White Peak, Carsington Water . |
