Beverley Racecourse is a flat racing course and has in the region of 20 afternoon and evening meetings between April and September. The racecourse is situated approximately one mile from the town centre and is easily accessed by bus, train and car, including ample free car and coach parking. There are three enclosures, the Premier Enclosure gives access to the majority of the racecourse, including bars and the Attractions Restaurant and has a dress code. The Grandstand and Paddock is more casual, has its own bars and eating outlets but still gives a good view of the course and access to the Paddock and the saddling up area. The Course Enclosure has its own bars, catering units and bookmakers and also vehicular access so you can watch the action from your car. This enclosure is very popular with families who bring their own picnics. Admission to all days start from £5 per adult and accompanied under 18's are free to all meetings. There are various themed days, including three family days with additional entertainment for the children, our ever popular Journal Ladies Day in mid-August and plays host to the Yorkshire Racing Summer Festival in July. Each raceday has a minimum of six races and sometimes as many as eight! As well as racing, Beverley Racecourse is available for parties, conferences and events throughout the year.
