Burntisland has a wonderful sandy beach, the town has its own swimming pool and Leisure Centre, both just 5 minutes walk away. Other sporting activities such as Golfing, Fishing and Scuba Diving etc. are also only minutes away and can be arranged. For those who enjoy walking Burntisland is on the Fife Coastal Path Route offering many interesting and spectacular walks.
Should you wish to visit beyond this area of the Kingdom, Burntisland is on the main East Coast Railway Line and is an excellent choice for easy access to Edinburgh (35 minutes), Dundee (45 minutes), Perth (65 minutes) and Glasgow (85 Minutes). The Rosyth to Zeebrugge Ferry Port is only 15 minutes drive away. The Kingdom of Fife is blessed with a host of excellent golf courses and the world famous Old Course in St Andrews is only 45 minutes drive away.
