Hinckley, located in Leicestershire, is a town that visitors will find full of pleasant surprises. There are many places of interest to enjoy during a visit to this charming town, including the site of the Battle of Bosworth. Many of the dead were buried at St. James' church. Other places of interest include Hinckley Museum as well as Stoke Golding, which is home to one of the most beautiful medieval churches in the area. St. Mary's Parish Church dates back to the 13th Century. Ashby Canal, which is the longest contour canal in the country, is also definitely a must see while in the area.
