Wigan, located in Greater Manchester, offers plenty for visitors to the local area to enjoy. The primary attraction in Wigan is Wigan Pier which has its own visitor centre as well as a pub. The English town of Wigan is located within the area of Greater Manchester and it is located on the banks of the River Douglas.
