Jermyn Street
SW1
Nearest Tube: Piccadilly Circus
This street, running parallel to Piccadilly, is named after Henry Jermyn, the 17th century Earl of St Albans. It is most famous for its association with London's Gentlemen's Clubs, some of which survive on Jermyn Street to this day.
The shops that are located here cater for the stereotypical English Gentlemen and include tailors, hat makers and bootmakers. There is also a Pipe Smokers' Museum hidden away in the Dunhill shop on the corner, which is worth a visit.
