Redruth, located in Cornwall, is a traditional town located about 18 kilometers from Falmouth. There are plenty of sights to see and enjoy while in the local area, including Murdoch House. The house dates back to the 17th century and stands in the midst of Cross Street. It has served as a chapel as well as a prison. It eventually became the first house in the entire world to be outfitted with gas lighting.
