Kinross, located in Perth and Kinross, is a small burgh that was once a country town known as Kinross-shire. Today it is home to a few notable buildings, including an original parish church that overlooks Loch Leven. Visitors may wish to take advantage of the opportunity to take a boat trip around the loch and over to Loch Leven Castle. The town of Kinross has a population of between four thousand and five thousand. Most of the local children within the town attend the towns' high school and some of the local children attend the local private school that is known as Dollar Academy.
