Hounslow, located in Greater London, is primarily known as a suburb of the larger metropolitan area. Hounslow is located on the perimeter for Heathrow Airport, which is London's main airport. The airport is located within the Borough of Hillingdon, which is a part of London. Great West Road is located on the north side of Hunslow.
