Faversham, located in Kent, is situated within the district of Swale. It is located about halfway between Canterbury and Sittingbourne. Faversham holds a record that shows that the highest recorded temperature within the town was thirty-eight and a half degrees centigrade and this is the highest temperature ever recorded within the United Kingdom. The highest temperature was recorded in 2003 on the 10th of August.

The town of Faversham has a population of about seventeen thousand seven hundred and ten and most of the population are British Citizens. Faversham is a parliamentary constituency that is part of Mid Kent and Faversham.
