Dudley, located in the West Midlands, is one of the largest towns in the local area. The people that visit the museum are able to take a narrow boat trip from the adjacent canal through the Dudley Tunnel. The ruins of Dudley Castle are located within the grounds of the zoo and there is also an extended wooded ridge that runs to the north from the castle.
