Attleborough, located in Norfolk, is situated between Thetford and Norwich. Attleborough is served by Attleborough railway station. The parish of Attleborough falls into Breckland district and this district covers and area of about twenty-two kilometres squared. The district is served a train service that is on the main railway line that operates between Cambridge and Norwich. The town of Attleborough has a population of about nine thousand seen hundred and two, which live between four thousand one hundred and eighty five households. The current MP within the Attleborough area is Christopher Fraser and he serves the conservative party. The railway station that is lcoated within the town of Attleborough serves the town well.
There is a strong education network within the t own and it is made up of one high school, two primary school and also one primary school that caters for children that have special needs. There is also a new centre for education that has just opened on Norwich Road within the town.
Over the years there has been a number of notable residents within the town and these include people such as Mel Harris and Malcolm Arnold. Malcolm Arnold lived within the town of Attleborough from the late part of the 1980's until he died in September 2006.
