Ascot, located in Berkshire, is situated in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. It is most well known for being the location of Ascot Racecourse. The region is divided into three areas; Ascot, North Ascot and South Ascot. Although many of the facilities in the region are geared toward the racecourse, there are plenty of amenities located in town including a variety of cafes and shops. There is also a variety of accommodation options located in Ascot as well as in the surrounding area. Ascot can be easily reached from other towns within the region.

The English town of Ascot is also a civil parish that is known as Sunninghill and Ascot. The town of Ascot is located within the county of Berkshire. The town of Ascot is probably best know for its race course which is used for a number of big horse racing events including the biggest of all Royal Ascot. The region of Ascot is divided into three very distinct areas, which are Ascot, South Ascot and also North Ascot. The town of Ascot is administered under the royal borough that is known as Windsor and Maidenhead.

The town of Ascot has a vast number of facilities to offer visitors and locals alike although a lot of the facilities tend to be geared towards the racing industry and the racecourse. There is a good choice of shopping within the town centre of Ascot. The town is home to most of the facilities that you would expect a small town to have including a supermarket, a number of cafes and a petrol station.

A lot of the buildings within the town of Ascot are post war and these features flats above retail properties that are on the bottom level. The town of Ascot has a local hospital that is known as Heatherwood and it is located on the western edge of the town.

The railway station within the town has a bi section that is runs to Waterloo Station that is based in the city of London. The trains that operate on the line are operated by South West Trains.
