Ascot, located in Berkshire, is situated in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. It is most well known for being the location of Ascot Racecourse. The English town of Ascot is also a civil parish that is known as Sunninghill and Ascot. The town of Ascot is located within the county of Berkshire. The town of Ascot is probably best know for its race course which is used for a number of big horse racing events including the biggest of all Royal Ascot. The region of Ascot is divided into three very distinct areas, which are Ascot, South Ascot and also North Ascot. The town of Ascot is administered under the royal borough that is known as Windsor and Maidenhead.

The railway station within the town has a bi section that is runs to Waterloo Station that is based in the city of London. The trains that operate on the line are operated by South West Trains.
