Escape the stress of modern day life and discover peace and tranquillity in our spacious home nestling in the delightful countryside of the Vale of Glamorgan.
We aim to make your stay relaxing, comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.

We have been described as "offering concern, effort, friendliness, open hospitality and warmth, yet thoroughly professional, natural and unassuming". Moreover, we have received the Welcome Host Gold Standard Award for our commitment to courtesy and service.

Whatever your reasons for visiting, you can be assured of receiving that same care and attention. We are confident that you will not be disappointed and will want to return, as many guests do, again and again.

Bryn-y-Ddafad lies in a secluded, yet not remote, location midway between the villages of Welsh St. Donats and Ystradowen and just three miles from Cowbridge, a historic town boasting many fine shops, inns, wine bars and restaurants. Here in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan (often referred to as the 'Garden of Cardiff') the lush, rolling pastures are peppered with picturesque villages, fine gardens, ancient churches and medieval castles. The unspoiled, protected Heritage Coastline of the Vale has dramatic plunging cliffs and tiny secluded coves, providing a home for flora and fauna.

The house is surrounded by panoramic views and a network of footpaths, together with several hundred acres of forestry nearby. Two championship golf courses (The Vale of Glamorgan and Cottrell Park) lie within 4 miles. For those wishing to combine these sights with a city break, Cardiff, with its numerous visitor attractions and many entertainment venues, is within easy reach.

Bryn-y-Ddafad lies only four miles from Junction 34 of the M4, making the National Botanic Gardens, the Gower Coastline, the Valleys and the Brecon Beacons easily accessible for those travelling by car.

The accommodation we offer is tastefully decorated, light and airy, strictly non-smoking, pet free and immaculately clean. All rooms are centrally heated (with thermostats) and windows are double-glazed. Guests may choose to relax in either our first floor residents' lounge or the sun lounge directly below.

The first floor lounge has a balcony overlooking the garden and pond. This room has a television and video, beverage tray and extensive tourist information. We are pleased to be able to offer our cottage, Y Bwthyn Bach, as self-catering accommodation for a minimum let of three nights. The cottage is situated a few yards away from the main house. Please note that it is not offered as a self-catering let during periods when major events are being held in the area.

The cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished, centrally heated, double-glazed and situated a few yards away from the main house.
