Queen's College

Queen's College is one of the oldest of Oxford's University colleges, having been founded in 1341.

However most of today's buildings date from several centuries later - from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Nevertheless, Queen's College is still architecturally interesting for all the college buildings date from one 60-year period, and so it is one of the most architecturally complete colleges.

Unlike many of the other colleges, Queen's College is not generally open to the public. The only way to see inside the college is through guided tours arranged by the Tourist Office.
