Edinburgh has some excellent shopping areas so there should be something for everyone. Whether it is big stores, little arcades, small boutiques or antique traders, Edinburgh has it all. |

In the Old Town, particularly along the Royal Mile you will find a plethora of souvenir shops with all manner of tartan bits and bobs being sold. But there are also some more off-beat shops scattered around. It is in the New Town that you will find the more high-street shops, particularly along Princes Street which is Edinburgh's main shopping thoroughfare. Jenners in particular has an excellent reputation. For antique lovers, the area to head for is Stockbridge where you should find a wide range of shops where you can rummage to your heart's content. |
