The most famous of Edinburgh's festivals is of course the Edinburgh International Festival which is made up of several elements including a Film Festival, a Book Festival, a
Jazz Festival, the hugely popular
Fringe Festival and the
Edinburgh Military Tattoo. But also in the Edinburgh calendar there are several other excellent festival events. These include the spring Beltane Festival, the Edinburgh International Science Festival and the Children's Festival. And of course at New Year Edinburgh is the venue for a huge open-air Hogmanay street party. |
