This small museum can be found at 201 Kings Road Arches, between the Palace and West Piers. It is dedicated to Brighton's fishing heritage for long before Brighton was a popular seaside resort it was a thriving fishing village. | |
The museum houses photos, film clips and all manner of other memorabilia from the town's fishing industry. Pride of place is taken by a "Clinker" - a traditional Sussex fishing boat. The Fishing Museum is open at weekends from Easter until September. Opening hours vary so do check in advance. Admission is free. |
