Ringwood is located in Hampshire, west of the New Forest. Traditionally the town of Ringwood was an agricultural area for many years. In recent years, it has become more of a dormitory town for the surrounding area. The Ringwood Brewery is housed in the area, producing a wide range of different wines. Visitors will find there are numerous entertainment options located in the local area including stock car racing and motocross. There is also a wide variety of dining options and accommodation options located in the Ringwood area. Reaching Ringwood is quite easy from neighboring towns.

The English town of Ringwood is located within Hampshire close to the River Avon. The town is located to the west of the New Forest and to the north of Bournemouth. The town of Ringwood was originally a centre for agriculture however since the closure of the cattle market in 1989 the town has became a dormant town. Some of the scenes for the BBC television comedy show "The Brittas Empire" was filmed within the town at the leisure and health centre.

The town of Ringwood is the hometown for Ringwood Brewary and this brewery produces a vast amount of cask ales. Ringwood brewery also operates five public houses within the local area and these include The Inn on the Furlong that is located in Ringwood. The brewery also produces a vast range of wines. The brewery has recently been taken over by the Marstons Brewary but they plan to keep the brewery open and also keep all the brands going however they are going to lease the public houses rather than run them by themselves.

The leisure park that is located nearby and is known as Matchams is best known for various forms of motorsport including go-karting, stock car racing and also motocross. Matchams got into the media spotlight both internationally and nationally after a Christmas theme family park turned out to be completely different from what had been offered and it was in fact scamming people out of thousands of pounds and there was over twenty thousand complaints made about it.

We hope you enjoy your stay in one of our cheap Ringwood hotels, mid range or luxury Ringwood hotels.
