Rye is an almost perfectly preserved Medieval Town which is no museum but is a living and thriving Town near Camber Sands. Camber has an extensive sandy beach bordered by sand dunes.
The Georgian Spa Town of Royal Tunbridge Wells and the wonderful gardens at Sissinghurst are also worth a visit.
