TREKNOW is a hamlet just before Tintagel Village off the B3263 from Camelford.

The coastal path is 3 minutes away, the connecting path starting at our hotel.

Commonly known as the sunset coast, it is steeped in the legends of King Arthur, and Cornwall's historic industrial past in the mining of slate.

Old workings can be seen close by, and the Delabole Quarry is Europe's largest man-made hole being approximately 1½ miles across. Also at Delabole the first wind farm in the country can be seen.

Wild life is in abundance around the cliffs and the wild flowers are something not to be missed early in the year. Late autumn brings Indian summers in many years, and the campion and primroses flower once again. There are many places to visit in Tintagel alone including the castle ruins, King Arthur's Hall, Merlin's Museum, the old post office and many small churches. All these are within walking distance of our hotel.
