The Netherdale

Our guest accommodation is perfectly situated with lovely views over Buxton and a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. Being a family run bed and breakfast we ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable with a delightful breakfast to start the day.

Buxton offers an array of shops and attractions including Poole's Cavern situated in Green Lane (a short distance from The Netherdale), the Pavilion Gardens and the Opera House. Buxton is noted for its Spa Water and for being the highest market town in England. Villages and historic towns such as Matlock, Tideswell, Chapel-En-Le-Frith and Bakewell, to name a few, are in close proximity.

Situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park, Buxton is an ideal location for anyone who wishes to engage in outdoor activities. There are an infinite number of walks, all with stunning scenery (the Goyt Valley is situated only 10 minutes away from us). The Peak District also offers many other outdoor activities such as rock climbing, caving and cycling.

The Netherdale, at 16 Green Lane Buxton, is easy to find. If travelling from the South, follow the M1 to the A50 at Junction 23 and then the A515 through Ashbourne to Buxton. On reaching Buxton, turn left at the first traffic lights at the end of Green lane and the Netherdale is 600 yards on the left.

The Netherdale has private parking at the front of the house and we are happy to help with luggage into the room. The front door is kept locked but our guests are provided with a front door key and a room key.

Buses arrive on the Market place, a 4 minute walk to The Netherdale, and the train station is a 15 minute walk. If you wish to take a fun "walk" from the comfort of your computer, go to Google Maps, enter the address and navigate the streets of Buxton from anywhere in the world with your mouse.
