Its position on top of a hill means Crawley Farmhouse offers the most spectacular panoramic views of the cheviot hills and the landscapes of the National Park, lying peacefully in the most scenic part of Northumberland it is easily accessible within 5 minutes you can be at the foot of the hills in the Breamish Valley, fifteen minutes and you can be at Wooler - the heart of hill walking or Alnwick with the Duchess's Gardens and Tree House. Twenty minutes and you can either explore the beautiful beaches of our coastline or be at Rothbury - another picturesque village. Half an hour and you are at either Berwick Upon Tweed close to the Scottish Borders or Morpeth - a traditional market town. With all sorts of other attractions and activities there is a wealth of opportunity to explore our countryside and coastline.

Accommodation

All rooms are spacious, bedrooms have TV, Radio, Tea and Coffee Making Facilities. Storage Heaters heat the rooms with electric heaters and Hot Water Bottles in the winter months if required.
Iron and Ironing Table, hairdryer, razor plug-in baby monitors are available on request.

Guests are welcome to walk around and sit in the garden and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and wonderful views.

LOCAL TOURIST ATTRactionS

POWBURN (half a mile) - Small village with 'The Plough' public house which does meals 7 pm -9 pm and Sunday lunches. A Post Office and well equipped shop at the Petrol Station, which is open all day. A café 'The Pachers Rest' which does meals all day and functions on request.

BREAMISH & INGRAM VALLEY (4 Miles) - Spacious grass area by river provides opportunity for picnics in the summer, walks in the hills and prehistoric sites to walk to.

EGLINGHAM (4 Miles) - Small village with the 'Tankerville' public house which does lunches and evening meals - advisable to book for evening and during summer months.

ROTHBURY (6 Miles) - Market Town with riverside walks, several eating venues and the Historic National Trust house 'Cragside'.

WOOLER (9 Miles) - Has Tourist Information Centre and is the start of many walks in and around the local landscapes with prehistoric sites of interest. Has several eating venues.

ALNWICK (10 Miles) - Market Town with Alnwick Garden and the Tree House the main attraction. Walks in and around the town. Several eating venues.

ALNMOUTH (13 Miles) - Idyllic seaside village with lovely beaches and golf courses. Several Eating venues.
