| Our Rooms All our rooms have en suite or private facilities with complimentary beverage tray and television. There is a fridge in all our rooms which are stocked with mineral water and soft drinks and snacks or for your own use during your stay.    The guest house is spread out on two floors with ground floor rooms available on request. We have ample parking for all our guests right outside the front of the guest house in our car park We have a comfortable breakfast room and conservatory and serve continental and freshly cooked English breakfast to order.  Chaucer lodge is ideal for your stay in Canterbury whether you are here for a holiday or visiting family and friends or even working in the surrounding area. |
| Canterbury CANTERBURY is a Historical city with great heritage and has a lively cosmopolitan style city centre and the world famous cathedral. Its shopping and entertainment facilities, cinema and theatre are all easy walking distance making Chaucer Lodge an ideal base for visitors to the City. Chaucer Lodge is in addition to being the ideal place to stay when visiting Canterbury is also an excellent base for exploring Kent. To the North are the seaside resorts of Whitstable (famous for its sea food) Herne Bay and Margate. East are Sandwich and Dover. South are Ashford, Maidstone and Leeds Castle whilst in the West are Royal Tunbridge Wells and Hever Castle. Chaucer Lodge provides comfortable relaxed accommodation for day trips to London and for visits to France.
