The mainland rail and ferry terminal at Wemyss Bay is easily reached by a short train journey from Glasgow Central. From Wemyss Bay, the car/passenger ferry crossing takes about 30 minutes. This service operates frequently each day.Glasgow International Airport allows easy access to the island. Take the M8/A8 from Glasgow to Wemyss Bay.

Alternatively, an attractive scenic route is via Loch Lomond (A82) to the village of Colintraive in Argyll. Along the way you'll find some of Scotland's finest scenery. The ferry crossing to Rhubodach, at the north end of the island takes only five minutes.

Directions to the hotel from Rothesay ferry terminal. Turn left on leaving the harbour. Follow the road for approximately 500 metres. The hotel can be found on the right.
