Betws-y-Coed is the home to Swallow Falls, which happens to the one of the worlds largest waterfalls and which manages to attract thousands upon thousands of visitors each year from all over the globe. In fact, in a true testimony to the allure of the waterfalls, the adjacent hotel, the aptly named Swallow Falls Hotel happens to be the most popularly booked hotel in the whole of the village as well!
Another beauty spot is the Fairy Glen Gorge, which is a small and enclosed glen located on the bank of the Conwy River and which is a firm favourite for artists and writers from across the whole of Wales all of whom come looking for some creative inspiration. Because it so secluded, the Fairy Glen is the ideal place to picnic or even just relax and let the worries of the day just simply melt away.
