The English town of Barnet is located within the city of London. The town of Barnet is a suburban area that was developed during the twelfth century and it is located about ten miles north west of the London area that is known as Charing Cross.

The main shopping area within Barnet is the High Street and this area includes a small shopping centre that is known as the Spires and behind the shopping centre is the bus terminal. The main shopping area has a vast array of shops including two branches of WH Smiths, a Waitrose store that is of a medium size, a body shop and also various coffee outlets.
