Our attractive Memorial Gardens have been awarded the Yorkshire in Bloom Silver Gilt certificate for the past three years. See Yorkshire's pioneering Cayley Glider along with the Wright Flyer, unique Halifax Bomber and Mosquito Nightfighter and modern jets such as the Harrier GR3 and Tornado GR4. Ride our fantastic 'Harrier Experience' Flight Simulator! Don't miss our exciting events that take place throughout the year. The excellent Restaurant provides hot and cold meals, snacks and refreshments in an atmospheric setting, reminiscent of a wartime 'NAAFI'. The new 'Pioneers of Aviation' exhibition will open in Spring 2010 featuring the work of famous figures from the aviation world that have a Yorkshire connection, including Sir George Cayley, Robert Blackburn, Amy Johnson, Sir Barnes Wallis and Nevil 'Shute' Norway.
