Worthing, located in West Sussex, is located a short drive from Brighton. This seaside town is a wonderful getaway and features a pier and nice promenade. There are also seaside parks that can be enjoyed as well. The town is perhaps most well known as serving for the backdrop for filming of the movie Wish you were here. The town was also a popular getaway for Oscar Wilde at the end of the 19th century. There are certainly plenty of dining, shopping and entertainment options in Worthing to satisfy any visitor.
